Birthdays

We went home last weekend and boy was it one action packed weekend. First, the olympics started and Zach and I are both huge fans so every spare moment was spent watching all of the 3 olympic channels. Other than that, there were lots of goings on. Saturday was Collin's birthday party. We discovered what happends when you put Mentos into a bottle of Coke. You can see for yourself below.

It was very exciting. After that we were given a very detailed play by play of the video game Call of Duty 3. Let's just say I won't be trying it out anytime soon.

It was also Tessa's birthday. She's 18!! Happy birthday Tessa. You can gamble, buy pornography. . . oh ya and vote. For her birthday we had some amazing quiche made by my mom. Aunt Janet and I both agreed that her quiche is way better than ours. Then we had red velvet cake. It was amazing as you can see for yourself.

We're very glad that Tessa has discovered that she likes baking because we all get to enjoy her experiments.
All in all it was a great weekend. You can't get much better than Mentos/Coke fountains and red velvet cake.

I love your blog. Tessa looks beautiful. I haven't seen her for years. I haven't seen you for years either. I love how Tessa cake looks like her painting.
