California Poppies

As some of you may have gathered, I love Arizona in the spring. This last winter we had a lot of rain so the flowers have been spectacular, in particular the California Poppies. Entire hillsides are covered with them making it look like the hills are on fire! In all my years in Arizona, I've never seen it look like this and these pictures don't come close to doing it justice.

I agree about the beauty AND that the pictures don't do it justice. When we came over for Easter it was Beautiful! But my pictures didn't capture one-tenth of the real beauty. You look beautiful posing in the flowers though!

I think flowers with cacti just look bizzare (in a good way). I love the colors (even if justice was not done to them ;)
