This year we got to spend Easter with my grandparents. Zach had a mission reunion conference weekend so we decided to head up to Utah. We didn't have tickets for conference and instead of heading off to Salt Lake to wait in a line hoping we could get some, we kicked it with G and G Simmons in Manti.
Our first morning Grampa made us stuffed french toast. It was incredible and beat out any restaurant stuffed french toast I've ever had. You can tell by the look on Zach's face!
I love this woman! Grama has become so much fun! She is always entertaining us with her antics. I'm lucky she's my grama!
Grampa has had so much more time for his culinary creations since he retired and we are the lucky benefactors. He is so talented in so many ways and one of the kindest people I know.
This is Zach's Easter basket. He had a lot of fun searching for it. It was particularly difficult time since he didn't know all of the hiding places!
This is Sylvester. He's the cat that doesn't really belong to Grama and Grampa but they take care of him anyway. Grama made sure I took a few pictures of him along with everyone else.
Grama and Grampa had fun searching for their basket too. They found it a lot more quickly than Zach. They were also ninjas when it came to egg hunting!
It was a great Easter! You don't get much better than being with family!
