Yesterday I had a salad with lettuce and carrots completely from my own garden! It was a very exciting moment for me. The carrot was huge, at least compared to what I thought it was going to be. Since it's been a while I thought I'd post some pics of my garden and, most particularly, my carrot!

This is my broccoli! There's no broccoli but the plant is huge!!

Lots of lettuce!

Here's to life and it's little victories, like carrots!

Nothing quite like actual garden salad. I'm especially jealous as the only thing we are growing here are icicles :(
Shannon, that is one amazing carrot, now plant a new batch and soon you'll have another salad, you're doing better that we are here in Safford, although we aren't growing any icicles thank heaven!
